Shelby American Collection GT/40 Total Victory at Lemans.
The 10th Anniversary of the Shelby American Collection also
marks the 40th Anniversary of Ford's clean sweep at the 1966
24 Hours of Le Mans. GT 40's finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd
completing Ford's goal of dominating Ferrari in the legendary
endurance race. Ken Miles and Denis Hulme piloted GT 40 Mkll
number 1015 to 2nd place overall while the GT 40 Mkll number
1046 or Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon won the race with Ronnie
Bucknam and Dick Hutcherson caputuring 3rd in GT 40 Mkll
number 1016.
